### Shipping - need to know <a href="#x1vszmbhyye4" id="x1vszmbhyye4"></a>

The Shipping tab displays a list of all Shipments with a minimum status of Ready to Pack.

The Shipping Tab enables a user to:

* Track and Find Shipments
* Filter and sort Shipments&#x20;
* Merge Shipments *with the same shipping address*
* Confirm (change status) Shipments are ready to Ship or Shipped
* Print Picking and Packing documents
* Pack and unpack Line Items by Shipment
* Organize packing configuration
* Edit Shipment parameters, i.e. Vendor/Method, Weights, Cost, Pallets.
* Get and compare rates from small parcel vendors i.e. UPS (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost\*)
* Select and buy Shipping vendor products (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost\*)
* Print Shipping Vendor Labels (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost\*)

**\*EasyPost** is integrated with the WMS via a Plugin. EasyPost provides a single transactional pathway between Salesorder and small parcel shipping vendors e.g. UPS etc. See [EasyPost](/setup/easypost.md).

### Shipments *pane* <a href="#x9x9bfgyem6n" id="x9x9bfgyem6n"></a>

Display a list of Shipments with a status of ready to pack or ready to ship.

| >Remove from Merge     | Remove selected (<mark style="background-color:yellow;">highlighted</mark>) Shipment from the commensurate merge.                                                                                              |
| >Confirm Ready to Ship | Set selected (check box) Shipment status to ‘Ready to Ship’.                                                                                                                                                   |
| >Ship                  | Set selected (check box) Shipment status to ‘Shipped’. The corresponding Shipment will no longer appear. Go to Shipments in the main app to find and view.                                                     |
| >Print Pick List       | <p>Print selected (check box) Shipment(s)’ Pick list(s). The Pick List can be configured:</p><p><mark style="color:orange;">Setup>Configuration>Sales>Pick List</mark></p>                                     |
| >Print Packing Slips   | <p>Print selected (check box) Shipment(s)’ Packing list(s). The Packing List (Delivery Note) can be configured:</p><p><mark style="color:orange;">Setup>Configuration>Sales>Customer Delivery Note.</mark></p> |

### Filter and sort Shipments <a href="#id-2vcx9gcpp7ca" id="id-2vcx9gcpp7ca"></a>

Set column visibility and sort order of column values.

You can prioritize the order of results by column and alphabetical sequence. In the example above the sort order is shipping priority by earliest ship date.

### Merge Shipments

Using the Merge action, you can merge selected shipments with the same shipping address on the Shipping tab. <mark style="color:orange;">Click image to enlarge</mark>.

<mark style="background-color:yellow;">Highlight</mark> a merged shipment and click the 'Remove from merge' action to unmerge or remove a shipment from the merge.

### Packing *pane* - Box View

When the user <mark style="background-color:yellow;">highlights</mark> a Shipment, the Box view displays a list of boxes and their respective packed Items. Any Items that are not packed are displayed in a list of unpacked items. <mark style="color:orange;">Click image to enlarge</mark>.

### Packing pane - Item view

When the user <mark style="background-color:yellow;">highlights</mark> a Shipment, the Item view displays a list of items and how they are packed in their respective boxes. <mark style="color:orange;">Click image to enlarge</mark>.

Manages the dialogue between shipping integration e.g.&#x20;

**WMS <-> EasyPost <-> Shipping Vendors.**
