Shipping - need to know

The Shipping tab displays a list of all Shipments with a minimum status of Ready to Pack.

The Shipping Tab enables a user to:

• Track and Find Shipments

• Filter and sort Shipments

• Merge Shipments with the same shipping address

• Confirm (change status) Shipments are ready to Ship or Shipped

• Print Picking and Packing documents

• Pack and unpack Line Items by Shipment

• Organize packing configuration

• Edit Shipment parameters, i.e. Vendor/Method, Weights, Cost, Pallets.

• Get and compare rates from small parcel vendors i.e. UPS (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost*)

• Select and buy Shipping vendor products (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost*)

• Print Shipping Vendor Labels (requires shipping vendor intergration solution i.e. EasyPost*)

*EasyPost is integrated with the WMS via a Plugin. EasyPost provides a single transactional pathway between Salesorder and small parcel shipping vendors e.g. UPS etc. See EasyPost.

Shipments pane

Display a list of Shipments with a status of ready to pack or ready to ship.

Action	Notes
>List Shipments	In conjunction with the above Filter and Sort.
>Merge	Merge selected (check box) Shipments with the same address.
>Remove from Merge	Remove selected (highlighted) Shipment from the commensurate merge.
>Confirm Ready to Ship	Set selected (check box) Shipment status to ‘Ready to Ship’.
>Ship	Set selected (check box) Shipment status to ‘Shipped’. The corresponding Shipment will no longer appear. Go to Shipments in the main app to find and view.
>Print Pick List	Print selected (check box) Shipment(s)’ Pick list(s). The Pick List can be configured: Setup>Configuration>Sales>Pick List
>Print Packing Slips	Print selected (check box) Shipment(s)’ Packing list(s). The Packing List (Delivery Note) can be configured: Setup>Configuration>Sales>Customer Delivery Note.
>Print Ship Labels	Print selected (check box) Shipment(s)’ Shipping Labels(s). Shipping Label details are generated by ‘Buy Shipment’ Action in the ‘Options’ pane’.
>Find	Shipment by Ref#, Status, Customer, Shipping Address.
>Edit (in row)	Displays Shipment modal (popup box). Change Shipping parameters, add/edit Shipping values e.g. weight.

Filter and sort Shipments

Set column visibility and sort order of column values.

You can prioritize the order of results by column and alphabetical sequence. In the example above the sort order is shipping priority by earliest ship date.

A to Z = ascending, Z to A = Descending

Merge Shipments

Using the Merge action, you can merge selected shipments with the same shipping address on the Shipping tab. Click image to enlarge.

Merge Shipments pop up.

Highlight a merged shipment and click the 'Remove from merge' action to unmerge or remove a shipment from the merge.

Packing pane - Box View

When the user highlights a Shipment, the Box view displays a list of boxes and their respective packed Items. Any Items that are not packed are displayed in a list of unpacked items. Click image to enlarge.

>Add Box	Display Pack/Unpack Items modal (pop up window) (see below).
>Edit Box	Display Pack/Unpack Items modal (pop up window) (see below).
>Delete Box	Deletes and unpacks the corresponding Box and returns the Shipment to the Picked status.

Shipping Options pane

Manages the dialogue between shipping integration e.g.

WMS <-> EasyPost <-> Shipping Vendors.

Options pane	Gets Ship Via (Courier), and
Rate Details	Reaches out to all Couriers configured in Easypost (See EasyPost)
Get Rates	Reaches out to all Couriers configured in Easypost (See EasyPost) and returns costs per courier, per shipping method.
Buy Shipment	Reaches out to selected (displayed Courier), Purchases specified Shipment, and returns tracking label for >Print Shipping Label Action.
Ship via	Manually select from available Shipping Carriers: Setup>Configuration>General>Shipping Carriers OR Passed from Shipment
Shipping method	Manually select from available Shipping Carriers: Setup>Configuration>General>Shipping Carriers OR Passed from Shipment.
Delivery Date	Estimated from method selection.
Ship date	Date status set to ‘Shipped’.
Add Insurance	Value entered passed to Courier.
Declared value per box	Value entered passed to Courier.
Declared value total	Derived from Shipment value not including Taxes.
Additional Options	Values entered passed to Courier.
