# Mileage Claims

#### Creating Mileage Accounts

You can book vehicle mileage expenses. A Mileage Expense account allows you to specify the units in Miles or Kilometers, and the cost per unit, i.e. Rate, in the base currency.&#x20;

When mileage is entered into an Expense Claim the specified rate is used to automatically calculate the correct account to reimburse the worker.&#x20;
