# Mileage Claims
#### Creating Mileage Accounts
Chart of Accounts > + > Profit and Loss Accounts > Mileage Expense
You can book vehicle mileage expenses. A Mileage Expense account allows you to specify the units in Miles or Kilometers, and the cost per unit, i.e. Rate, in the base currency.
When mileage is entered into an Expense Claim the specified rate is used to automatically calculate the correct account to reimburse the worker.
