Products/Services > Item Categories.
Set and Add Item Categories
Go to Item > Classification (tab) > Categories, and select from the dropdown of preset categories.
To add new categories, go to Products/Services> Item Categories > Add Category and key in the new category name.
If it is a subcategory, select the Parent Category from the dropdown, and click OK. Users may have as many subcategories as they wish.
Users can edit categories and subcategories using the three dots at the side of each row. Edit the category name, change the parent category, move the category up and down the list and delete.
Search using Categories
Once you have set a Category, you can search using Categories as a filter.
Item List
Go to the Item List and click Advanced Search, scroll down to Categories, select using the drop down and click Search.
Item Selector
Use Categories to filter through items on the Item Selector.
Reports
In reports that include 'Categories' as an element, you can use this feature to filter the data.
