# Email Accounts ⛭

### 1. Turn on Integrated Email <a href="#jgdogz2g0jwx" id="jgdogz2g0jwx"></a>

Check the box at <mark style="color:orange;">Company>Company Info>Configure>Edit>Use Integrated Email</mark>&#x20;

### 2. Add Email Account <a href="#p2ppww47b3ac" id="p2ppww47b3ac"></a>

## Connect Gmail (Google Workspace) <a href="#oufpwuv8vamq" id="oufpwuv8vamq"></a>

Before you start you’ll need to configure or check the settings in the related Gmail accounts like this:

#### Check that IMAP is turned on <a href="#mnr7z2nbr277" id="mnr7z2nbr277"></a>

1. Open Gmail and click the ‘Settings’ cog in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and in the IMAP Access section select ‘Enable IMAP’.
3. Save your settings.

Go to <mark style="color:orange;">Setup>Configuration>Email>Mail Accounts>New Gmail Account</mark>

Repeat for each mail account you need to connect.

### Enable Worker’s (user) access <a href="#s3jj3888lsbf" id="s3jj3888lsbf"></a>

You can give users access to up to five email accounts:

### Troubleshooting

**On Google Workplace**

If you get this error message

Error: Unable to get folders list! Probably wrong credentials passed!

Check your credentials, settings and spelling. If these are correct go to this address and follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the Google Account for the respective email account
2. Go to "Security" on the left side menu

3. Make sure "Skip Password When Possible" is OFF
4. If the “Application Passwords” section is not available in the Security page, click on the search bar on the top of the page and type: "APP PASSWORD".&#x20;
5. In the page that will appear, create a new app password.

6. Use the generated password instead of your Gmail Account password in email configuration in SO. **Remember not to copy/paste it directly as it contains spaces that need to be removed.**
