# Kit ⛭

### BOM Item automatic update

Two key settings ensure that when an Item master used in a Kit changes the description or unit price updates the commensurate information in the KIt BOM.

These two settings are:

* Update BOM Item prices in BOMs when Item price is updated.
* Update BOM Item description in BOMs when Item description is updated.
